I have always had a good experience with the previous male Opthalmologist and the new Female Opthalmologist. They do an excellent job. However, there are deceptive practices, greed regarding what they charge for frames and lenses. It's a shame!!! The prices they are changing for glasses that are NOT even "name brand" is absolutely ridiculous. I've gone to them for years but no more!!! I took my RX from them to TARGET who takes my insurance. And with NAME BRAND frames I have NOW... with the same features THEY offered, it was only $60 out of pocket with TARGET, while Sunhill Optical was charging me $250. out of pocket with insurance allowance of $500 already..for same features at TARGET. Do your homework!

Dr Panetta is one of the most amazing doctors my family and I have ever met. We brought our 3 year old nephew in and he took care of him to the max, with so much respect and customer care. He understood our situation and took care of all of our concerns. I totally recommend him and his entire staff. The riverview location is amazing, and I recommend bringing your children here. Our family will continue to bring and refer people to this establishment always. This office has a special place in our heart. Thank you and the riverview staff for everything-love Yousef!

The optometrist was excellent and gave me a thorough exam. My issue is with the price of glasses. I was quoted $569 for one pair (I needed two). My husband and I have been going there for years and never paid more than $250. The Optician seemed very uninterested in retaining my business or offering any suggestions. When she found out I didn’t have insurance (that coincidentally pays up to $500) —I felt she hurried me out the door. They advertise that they are a small family-owned business —it doesn’t feel that way anymore.

All staff in the reception area were extremely welcoming and charming as I came in. Everyone introduced themselves and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Panetta was extremely professional, patient, and I appreciate the time he took to educate me on my eyes. He answered all questions I had, and I never once felt rushed during my appointment.

I visited Dr Vincent Panetta @ Sun Hill Optical ( Riverview) for a 2nd opinion about having cataract surgery. After a very thorough exam & using new vision technology, I was relieved to get good news! Dr Panetta gave me a straight forward & honest diagnosis and explained the reasons he felt I wasn’t a candidate for surgery at this time. He also fine tuned my prescription so I could get new glasses with the correct vision strength. Dr Panetta and his staff were quite professional and attentive to all my needs. Definitely would highly recommend him!
