This place is heaven sent! We are moving from CA to GA and driving cross country with our two pups. We happened to pull off at this exit for gas and spotted The Farmhouse. We knew immediately we had to try it. We are sick of fast food since that’s all you can find most places along the route. The Farmhouse is delicious!!!!! And that feels like an understatement. We scarfed our sandwiches down (so no photos of those), but they were fresh, healthy, and hit the spot!! Then we just had to try their ice cream, it was also exceptional!!! We had a great chat with the owner, he and the staff are all very friendly, hospitable, and kind! They were so sweet to us and our pups. Thank you all again for a delicious meal, much appreciated!! For anyone in this area or passing through, make sure to stop! This was such a nice reprieve to have a fresh, nutritious meal, and knowing the ingredients are grown/raised locally, cannot recommend enough!!

I was recommended by a fellow colleague of mine to come visit Farmhouse while in town. I would say that there are a lot of good reasons to visit this place.
First off they have really tasty freshly made sandwiches. You have the option to highly customize these sandwiches, with plentiful quality ingredients, and you get a very good sized sandwich. I would say depending the ingredients you choose, the average sandwich will run you about $6-8.
Secondly, they have a great selection of meat. I heard the meat does come from the owners farm. The meat does also happen to be reasonably priced.
And third they do have plenty other options in store to look at. I personally was intrigued by the baked goods they had, I believe they had raw local honey, an array of the sauces that they used and other ones, they also had a freezer section including frozen seafood, and also a large drink fridge and snacks.
And the ladies that work here are incredibly friendly and hospitable. This place is 100% worth stopping in for.

Great deli with fresh meats, cheeses, and local produce! The GM was very knowledgeable and helped me get what I needed, and the service from the young lady at the counter was outstanding! That’s something you don’t see too much anymore. The sandwich was loaded with meats and fresh veggies (I got the pit ham and smoked Turkey with American and hot pepper cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato), so I’m glad I came in for a quick bite.

Stopped by while on a road trip. Had a delicious deli sandwich on fresh baked bread. Husband had the grilled pork loin sandwich, it was delicious. Great quality and great service. It is a deli, not a full restaurant. There is seating for a few people.

We were driving from Kansas City to Hannibal MO and stopped in Brookfield to stretch our legs and stopped at The Farmhouse Butcher Shop and Deli.
The atmosphere is that of an old time butcher shop. The staff was very helpful and enjoyed our conversation with the owner Phillip.
My wife had the Chicken Noodle Soup and I had the Roast Beef Sandwich special both of which were delicious.
If you’re traveling on Highway 36 The Farmhouse is a must stop.
I only wish I was traveling with a freezer as I spotted a Beef Brisket I would love to put on my smoker at home.

Staff was very warm and inviting. Let us sample selections before we decided on what we wanted. The attention to detail was outstanding. Food was DELICIOUS!!! Will definitely return with more people in the near future.
