Dr. Karen was wonderful! She took the time to advise me on an exploratory call for a case she felt would be better handled by those with pediatric expertise. I felt heard, validated, and supported, none of which are descriptors I typically can use when dealing with healthcare professionals. I expect this is the beginning of a wonderful relationship between my family and the Tortoise Clinic. We are so lucky to have them here!

Took my 12 yo son to the Tortoise Clinic for acupuncture for his chronic (growing pain related) heel pain. It was amazing to see the look on his face when after the first treatment it started to feel better! The staff is helpful and did a great job of putting him at ease so we could have the best outcome.

This place is like no other!! The environment is natural and welcoming, unlike hospitals and standard doctor’s offices. You can tell they have taken great care in making it a soothing & healing atmosphere! Dr. DeVore is absolutely amazing, intelligent, and caring! From the moment I got there, I felt so welcome. What a difference in this place & staff compared to what you will receive when going to standard care with your insurance. Worth every penny! I finally have peace of mind about solutions to my health issues. It was my first time see Dr. DeVore and I can tell she is a great healer because of how she listens and cares. You will excel masterfully when you love your career, and it definitely shows in her practice! You can also tell how much knowledge she has obtained over the years in addition to her great amount of intellect! I’m so excited about the care I’m going to receive here! Don’t give it a 2nd thought, make that appointment!

Had a wonderful first experience at the Tortoise Clinic. Upon entry into the clinic you feel an immediate sense of calm. All of the staff I interacted with were very welcoming. It was my first time receiving acupuncture, and Dr.Forsythe made me feel very reassured about the process. Any questions I had were answered with care. I felt so relieved to be in the care of people who truly cared about their clients. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I absolutely love this clinic!! I wasn’t really sure about acupuncture but was in so much pain I was willing to try anything! To my surprise my energy level has increased and pain decreased! Dr. Forsyth is amazing and has taught me so much about my body and things I can do to live a full active life!!!

Dr DeVore reviewed my information before the appointment and then she dug in to learn more about me in order to develop a treatment plan. Dr.Lisa and staff are absolutely great to work with. Dr. lisa is an incredible accupuncturist - she is very thorough and learns everything about the patient before beginning any treatment. She is also a very caring person and has her patient’s well being first and foremost in everything she does. It has been and continues to be a very rewarding experience.

We are so beyond grateful for this clinic! They have helped my husband more than we could ever dreamed was possible. Neuro acupuncture is AMAZING! My husband has some pretty serious health issues and Lisa has helped him so much! He’s able to walk better, smile, breath easier, raise his arms above him, speak more words than he’s been able to speak in over a year and also relief his severe eye sensitivity! She is an absolute Godsend and we are forever grateful!
