Ok down to the final push and I am thrilled. They listen to your concerns and tweek as best as possible so all are happy with the end result. Michelle Yordy our go to gal, simply fantastic. We live here. My wife is a golfer and plays 3-4 times a week. Meets new people daily. Restaurants are good and reasonable.

I am glad I read these reviews. I kind of had a feeling what I read was right. I never get a straight answer on prices of the homes, all I get is that they start at 400k. If I plan on buying a home I would like to compare along with prices. I never got an answer how much the hoa fees what is included or taxes. They look like beautiful homes but does not seem they give you much on the amenities compare to other 55+.

All about our money! Two courses, cart paths are awful. Greens better but still a 5 of ten. Visitor rules are constantly changing….. I guess in general, the management is rude and really don’t care. So maybe time to boycott! Buyer beware….

I am posting this review to assist other individuals looking for an active living community to live or retire. After placing a phone call to the Villages of Citrus Hills main phone number I garnered the following information. This community only offers a day visit with an introduction of model homes, the community and the county it resides. This can easily be previewed by visiting their website and is very difficult for individuals traveling a distance. There is no mention of how to assist in making hotel reservations, playing a round of golf with a current member or joining any activity to meet and discuss the life of a current member inside the gated community! This lack of warmth and hospitality is very disappointing because it under minds the value and importance of community! This is the first gated community that I have experienced the most unwelcoming experience. Very unfortunate!

Just learned citrus hills construction substitute d the whole house tile with on that was available and did not inform me. The tile is a concrete look in beige vs I one I choose and matched to the house trim paint etc and special order rugs does not match. The tile I choose was a blue stone tile. I am told it is their rights. If I wanted concrete I would have not spent thousands of dollars for the tile and am stuck now with a house I am truly unhappy with and spent more at this location as I would have at another
