My Dad was very reluctant to even consider an assisted living facility after my Mom passed. He wanted to stay in their home. He became depressed and not himself. We toured a few big facilities where he would have been a number lost in the crowd. When we visited Thrive the "We are a Family" vibe was clearly evident. The staff was fantastic, friendly and professional. We were introduced to some of the residents and all were really positive about their life at Thrive. Thrive at Brow Wood offers personal care at a high level with fewer residents than the big facilities. Let me say this my Dad is like himself again.

I now see a side to my Dad that I have never seen. He has become quite an artist and takes part in Thrive's activities and field trips. He goes and exercises, sings at karaoke, attends the men's group meetings, and has become really good at seated balloon volleyball! He calls often to tell me about his day and who came to Thrive to entertain the residents.

I can say this I believe Thrive has added years to his life. Lauren, Noah, Chef Chris and the nursing staff are fabulous and very attentive to the residents needs.
Speaking of the Chef - the culinary meals are exceptional and not mass produced cafeteria meals. The residents dine together daily and have sit down "we will serve you" meals. My Dad looks healthier and I know he is getting top notch care.

If you are considering a place for your loved ones as they age or have needs beyond your abilities then Thrive at Brow Wood is the place you should highly consider. If you don't believe me , schedule a visit and you will be convinced that Thrive is a hidden gem amongst all other assisted living facilities.

My mom is celebrating her first year at Thrive and is truly THRIVING. We cannot say enough great things about the leadership and the staff in terms of the quality of care, their genuine love for and care for the residents, and the way they make the residents feel (like family), day in and day out. From the very first meeting to the tour to her first day moving in, mom has felt known and loved and well cared for every day she's been there. And she regularly raves about the food and her "packed" social calendar full of fun activities and events. Moving to assisted living is a big decision for all families ... we can't imagine her being anywhere else and are so grateful to Thrive for the great care she's receiving.

I feel extremely fortunate that Thrive at Brow Wood had availability for my mother to move into the assisted living part of the community in early February 2022. I absolutely love the setting, size, administration, staff, volunteers and other residents! As expected, the transition from independent living to assisted living has been difficult for my mother. The communication I have received from the administration has been thorough and consistent. It has made a tremendous difference in establishing a trusting relationship starting from day one. Truly, the communication has been superb. They have "held my hand" as the transition has been difficult for me too. After two months living at Thrive, my mother is smiling and laughing again and enjoys the company of her new neighbors. I am a frequent visitor and I witness the positive effect the staff members have on how my mom feels about life at Thrive. I love walking through the entrance of Thrive. I feel comfortable and welcomed. I know that my mom is a valued member of the community and is well cared for there.

We had heard a lot of good things about the Thrive at Brow Wood but all of what we’d heard was really underrated. First the Staff is incredible. And that’s an understatement. From the president on these people go above and beyond their way to be sure your loved one is cared for by a loving staff. And to do all they’ve done during these most difficult times is absolutely amazing. I count my blessings every day knowing our mother is in such great care. Thank you to everyone at Thrive!!

Laura and her team went out of their way to accommodate a client of mine. Within an extremely short time, they had decorated her room and gotten everything ready for her arrival. Upon arrival, every single person we met had a smile and asked how they could help. One of the staff members even went to their home to get a phone for us and they made her a special meal that evening to help settle her nerves! As I walked out that evening, several people stopped me to see how she was settling in and if there was anything else we needed. The facilities are amazing. It felt more like a resort than anything else. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Thrive and the people that work there.
