Bonus points for my fur child instantly running to our vet tech (Katie) and sitting on her feet.
Katie was very helpful and reassuring in my visit.
The manager Amanda had just as much as a warm spirit as the rest of the staff.
Dr. Roberts not only was so easy to talk to and helped stop my fears.
She also handled my fur child with the most extreme love and care for all procedures:
a rash, fleas, and a new rabies vacation.

Extra bonus points for offering human treats.
— I was able to experience my first coffee and snacks at a clinic 🙂

I have used this vet for a few years now. You never get the same staff- ever. This location particularly has too many doctors that rotate so the experience is never personal.

I took a client dog there today. One who has been rejected from their care before due to behavioral issues (too anxious during the exams, etc). I advocated for my client dog but felt weird tension with the vet & tech.

I asked if they rotate vets/ staff often as I never get the same faces- I got met with a weird smug face that reassured they just have a lot of vets!

The care is more affordable in comparison to others but consider that in the quality of care too..

Thrive Decatur, specifically Dr Bradford and Vet Tech Grace, were just absolutely phenomenal! I will not mention who I took my sick kitty too just after New Years, but I will NEVER bring a cat to that vet again. If I'd followed that previous vet's advise, my cat would have either died and/or I would have incurred thousands in "specialist" bills that were not needed. Sam, the receptionist who answered the phone, got me a sameday appointment after hearing the panic in my voice. Dr Bradford and Grace listened to me, and acknowledged I know my cat's behavior and idiosyncrasies, and this is a team effort to get her well. They both gave me a plan of action that made complete sense to my wallet and my heart/mind, answered all of my questions and concerns with the utmost kindness and patience. Do not hesitate to bring your pet to Dr Bradford/Grace. I have peace of mind finally that Larry will be ok.

I can't say enough about the amazing care my dog receives from Dr. Bradford and vet technician Ashley Boston! They both go above and beyond to ensure my pet feels safe and comfortable during every visit. Dr. Bradford is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in detail, while Ashley's warmth and compassion always shine through. My dog absolutely loves both of them, and it's clear they genuinely care about her well-being. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful team to care for my furry friend!

Was so pleased with a very difficult appointment. Was putting my little schnauzer to sleep. The assistant , Grace was so very kind from beginning to the end of Lady’s life. As was the wonderful Vet . Can’t remember her name. She was outstanding! I know she works at Thrive part time. I am telling all my friends to definitely go to Thrive in Decatur. Thank you Doctor and Grace! Maureen Golden

Front desk agent Michael is horribly RUDE and not welcoming at all. He was originally at the Midtown location and is now at the Decatur location. Still with the same nasty, and snobby attitude. Walked In and no one was at the desk. No greeting for a long time. I had to call the line for someone to come up front. Ultimately they wouldn’t accept my pet because they say I was late. Although we’re pet plus members and long time client of over 3 years. However it was only a few minutes past scheduled appointment . Amanda Beejeski “practice manger” was not helpful at all. In fact she stated my fur baby serve eye issue is not an emergency. Not empathetic at all. Wouldn’t recommend this location.

Bizarre experience…. No wonder they had an immediate appointment. First tried to sell me over $300 of services, but was sold only a vial of antibiotics, which did absolutely nothing to help my cat at all. I gave the antibiotic to her and she remains exactly in the condition she was before. When I first got there, they wanted to remove my cat to a “back room” to examine her, despite the fact that we were in an examination room and they asked me if I “didn’t mind “ yes, i mind… wtf is that? Not happy. Weird place. Seem like the vet had a chip on her shoulder too I mean congratulations honey.
