I've been seeing Frandzie for probably eight years, maybe more, and she's been a godsend. Regular medical doctors will not delve this deep to truly find the root cause of things and will just prescribe pills for symptoms. These folks will find things nobody else can, and will help you to heal with more natural substances. I count my blessings that I found these folks. My sister, nephew, husband, mother and two sons are also patients. I've also referred many friends and other healthcare personnel to Vanguard. They've been instrumental in improving my health and are most definitely worth the cost. Health is just too important!

First let me start by saying that this review is long overdue.

I have been a patient of Frandzie Daphnis at Vanguard Medical Center for almost two years. I am truly blessed to have Frandzie as my medical healthcare professional.

I have suffered for over thirty years with thyroid issues and my whole life with severe anxiety. I can’t even count the amount of doctors, medical professionals, etc., that I have been to over the years, and also, the amount of medication that has been prescribed to me over the years..... looking back it’s really unimaginable.

Since becoming a patient of Frandzie I am now on a very small dose of anxiety medication and for the first time in over thirty years my thyroid is under control. My life has truly changed from where I was two years ago and I know it’s going to get even better working with Frandzie.

Frandzie is the most caring, compassionate and knowledgeable medical professional I have EVER met. You can tell that she truly does care for her patients. She sits with you and goes over all of your bloodwork results and makes sure you understand everything! And boy is she thorough with ordering lab tests.....this is how she’s able to get to the root of your health issues. She leaves no stone unturned when it comes to figuring out what the source of your problem is.

I also can’t say enough about Colin and Jessica in the front office. They are truly wonderful people. They both are right there to help you in any way that they can. I really can say that I enjoy going to the office. I feel as though everyone there is like part of my family now. I can’t thank everyone enough for their compassion and all around great care that I have always received..... I am truly grateful!!

I'll start by saying Dr Frandzie Daphnis is a very kind person that takes time to go over medical testing/history with her patients like no other Dr I have seen.

Why the 1 star review then? Her office manager Colin is a horrendous person to deal with and can/will impede your ability to solve your health issues.

Dr Daphnis did testing to verify an illness was still present after a test was completed by a previous Dr years ago. The test came back positive which means that an emergency medication has to be carried at all times.

During the follow up visit Dr Daphnis forgot to write a renewal for the medication and I forgot to ask for one. A few weeks after realizing this I called the office to see if they could call in a prescription since we both forgot. Colin refused to even relay the message to Dr Daphnis and told me that I would have to go without the medication until they could fit me in for an appointment. I stated it was not safe to go without it and Colin responded by saying "They are running a business and need to make money from writing prescriptions". I then mentioned how he was completely ignoring the fact that I already had a visit where tests were performed/discussed and money should not be valued over the life of their patients. He literally hangs up the phone and a week later I get a letter saying I have been dropped as a patient.

This type of heartless behavior has no place in a medical office. Many people visiting Vanguard Medical center are doing so because they have not had any luck at other Dr offices. Some of us have even waited months to be seen for our first visit. It saddens me that poor office management is getting in the way of Dr Frandzie Daphnis helping people to her fullest capability.

Frandzie Daphnis has made a tremendous difference in my life! I suffered a couple of years with hypothyroidism, on medicine, but still suffering from fatigue even with "normal" blood results. Frandzie changed all that by searching deeper into my health issues and found multiple problems. As she addressed each issue and solved them I have never felt better in my life and I'm almost 50. I don't know what I would do without her. I am grateful for her kindness and dedication to my health. I recommend her if you want to get your health on track and not be treated like a number.

Finding Dr Frandzie Daphnis has literally transformed my life. Where many doctors aren’t trained to look for specific things, she knows exactly what to test for to help bring your body back to balance. She takes her time going over your labs and is caring and compassionate. I went from every day exhaustion to now having the energy to run my business and take care of my family. I sleep well and feel great. So thankful!!

Stay away. This place was very shady from the start. First off, it took hours of research to prove to them my insurance (out of state) would cover the visit. Colin, the office manager, refused to believe it would, instead claimed they all say that, but never end up paying them. It ended up paying the whole thing (still had to bring in hard copy evidence to show him it went through, as he claimed they never received it.) The VERY NEXT DAY he had papers posted all over the office “no out of state insurance will be taken going forward.” Coincidence? Now they don’t take any insurance at all.

With that said, Dr. Frandzie Daphnis is phenomenal. She was very attentive and ran thorough testing to get to the root of the problems I was having, and prescribed thyroid medication. After running out however, they said I needed to be seen in order to get a refill. Unfortunately they were closed over the weekend so I tried to get a 2 day supply to cover that, but the pharmacist said there were notes made by Vanguard denying this. Come Monday, their line was busy until about an hour before closing, but after getting through, I was told the cost of 1 months refill would be $125. No appointment. She would do this over the phone the next day. I said okay, but asked if I could do anything to get my medication until then, since I had already been out of it for a few days. They replied with “no, not until she speaks to you on the phone tomorrow and you do the refill. So would you like me to set that up for tomorrow?”

My review isn’t the only one like this unfortunately. Check the other negative reviews on this place before thinking about going here. There’s horror stories out there. It’s a 100% money grab. From the prescription refill system they have going here, to the slew of BS overpriced supplements they try to sell you in store. The Colin guy upfront will undoubtedly run this place into the ground. There are plenty of other practices out there that will not only accept insurance, but will consider your health in their priorities. Look elsewhere.

This establishment has changed my life! I have been a patient of Frandzie Daphnis for the last 3 years and she is the most caring and informed medical professional I have ever met. Western medicine only tried to cover up my symptoms. She truly takes the time to investigate, discover and inform you about the source of your health issues. Through her recommendations and guidance, my body is healing from all of the damage that it has endured for over a decade. Words cannot express how grateful I am for her and her staff!

I've never had a doctor that takes so much time and effort into understanding me. Too really understand what wrong with me, to find the perfect treatment for me. In a few week I have already started to feel physically like a different person. It was a pleasure to visit this office. I felt like I wasn't another set of numbers and charts on the doctors wall that needs to be dealt with. I was treated like a human being and that they would really love to help me in such a human way.
