I cannot say enough great things about all of the ladies that work at the Nixa Vision Clinic! I am not an easy patient as I have many issues with my eyes other than just needing vision correction. But they take their time with me and are always willing to answer just one more question. Brook has been extremely helpful and patient in helping me with having contacts for the first time in my life. Dr. Thomas is the friendliest, most professional doctor who really cares about the health of my eyes and has gotten me into the right specialists for my other issues! Also, the ladies who have helped me get the right frames for my face are very patient and knowledgeable. They have made sure that I got the right size frames for my face and for my progressives. They also made sure that I knew what my options were for getting a second set of frames, if I wanted them. Even the ladies that aren't working with me are always very warm and welcoming, making sure to check on me to see if I have any questions and am being taken care of. I couldn't be happier that this clinic is in my hometown!

I’ve been coming to Vision clinic for over 10 years. The staff are always super friendly and go out of their way to help and make you happy. They have a great selection of frames and sunglasses. Dr. Thomas is amazing and very knowledgeable. I would recommend all Vision Clinic locations to anyone looking for a new optometrist

Stay away from here if you value your time and money. This place is a joke.

I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early and I still wasn’t seen for an another 20 minutes after my appointment time, at the end of the day, with no one else there. Appointment went fine. I told the cashier I wanted to order some frames and contacts. Flash forward a few days, I get a phone call from the office asking me if I wanted to order contacts and the glasses I picked. Having thought the order had already been placed when it wasn’t, I went ahead and paid my other bills for the month. So this meant I had to wait until I got paid again, (another 2 weeks) to order them. All because they didn’t do it at the office when I was there and told them I wanted to do that. Flash forward 2 weeks, I order and tell them I wanted them shipped to my house. Flash forward another 2 weeks or so, I still hadn’t received anything in the mail. So I call the clinic trying to find out where my stuff is, clinic says they gotta look into it and call me back. When they do call me back, I’m told my glasses got sent to the wrong address and they’ll be sent to me from wherever they went. So then I ask about on my contacts and again, they gotta look into it and call me back. 2 days later, clinic calls me back again to tell me my glasses had been at the clinic the entire time, waiting for pickup even though I asked for them to be shipped. And that my contacts were “lost in transit” and they asked me if I wanted to order another set to replace them. I said yes, and asked for them to shipped to my house, again. The new order for my contacts was placed and I was sent a tracking number. Unable to leave work that day to pick my glasses up, I give the clinic verbal approval over the phone that I am sending someone to pick them up for me. So rather than have my glasses ready at the desk, knowing someone was coming, the person I sent had to wait 20 minutes for seemingly the entire staff to frantically search the place for them. They somehow knew my glasses were there yet not a single person knew where they were. Finally get my glasses and they were fine. I started checking the mail waiting for contacts to show up. After another week or so i finally just look up the tracking number to see they had already been delivered to my address, when they hadn’t. So, once again, I call the clinic to ask about them, telling them the tracking number said they were delivered when they weren’t, and once again, I’m told they gotta look into it and call me back. It took them an entire day for them to call me back and tell me my contacts had been returned to sender, and were at the clinic ready to be picked up. At this point I just told them not to bother shipping them and wait for me. I didn’t want to run the risk of them being lost again. It’s been nearly 2 months since my appointment and over 500 dollars later and I barely have my glasses and still no contacts. Then, a couple hours later, someone from the clinic texts saying that the second order of contacts had already shipped and couldn’t be cancelled. And that I would either have to bring that set back to the clinic when (hopefully) I got them , or not pick up the first set and return that one, and hope the second set actually shows up to avoid being charged for both sets, even though I had already been charged for the first set and ordered another whilst under the impression the first set wasn’t coming. So now I have that to worry about. Finally got my contacts and asked for a copy of my prescription so I can just go somewhere else next time. Overall an abysmal experience. No one at this clinic seems to communicate with each other. They never have direct answers or just flat out give you wrong information. The sheer incompetence put on display by this clinic is laughable. If you’re looking for an eye doctor, literally go anywhere else and you’ll be in better hands. Absolutely terrible clinic.

I had the pleasure of visiting Vision Clinic Nixa on Friday, January 17th, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Eva and Taylor at the front desk. Their cheerful attitudes and bright smiles immediately made me feel welcome. They checked me in efficiently, and I barely had to wait before Holly, the technician, came to escort me to the next step.

Holly was incredibly professional as she guided me through the routine vision check. She worked quickly and efficiently while ensuring I was comfortable throughout the process.

Afterward, I was taken to the exam room, where I only waited briefly before Dr. Thomas, the intern Dr. Riley, and scribe Brooke entered. Dr. Thomas was thorough and precise as she explained that my vision had changed slightly since my last visit. While it wasn’t the easiest news to hear, she patiently answered all of my questions and ensured I fully understood what I needed to know for maintaining my vision.

Brooke was a standout as well, demonstrating her skills as an excellent scribe. She and Dr. Thomas worked seamlessly together, perfectly in sync as they navigated the technical aspects of the exam.

Once the exam was complete, Dr. Thomas referred me back to the lobby to browse glasses. I can confidently say that Dr. Riley is in great hands as she continues her training under such a capable and professional team.

Overall, Vision Clinic Nixa impressed me with their professionalism, efficiency, and exceptional care. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of vision services.!

I have been struggling with my vision since I had some surgery and the staff here (especially Brooke and Riley) have gone above and beyond to try and help me. They have spent so much time with me and I never felt rushed. Thank you so much for all your compassion and expertise.

Holly and Brooke are the best! My daughter said they are the bomb.com. They were very helpful in getting us fitted for contacts. Dr. Emily was kind, professional and helpful. Everyone was patient and made sure we got just what we needed.
