This place is it! I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I was worried about keeping my appointment because my babysitter canceled on me. They not only welcomed the idea of me bringing my 4-year-old but they also had a play area to keep her entertained as I filled out my information on a user-friendly tablet. We started our appointment immediately afterward. Everyone we interacted with was kind and professional, especially the doctor. He was thorough in his exam and ensured I had no doubts. The shopping experience for glasses was surprisingly affordable, and the assistant helped me understand all my options, leaving me satisfied and happy. I highly recommend this optometry practice and can't SEE going anywhere else (pun intended).

Excellent optometry practice. Dr. Girard and his staff are all highly qualified professionals and have a real knack for putting their patients at ease. Dr. Girard discusses your exam and finding with you in plain language. He is one of the best eye doctors I have ever had. Highly recommend this business.

After 10+ years as a patient this doctor tried to blackmail me into getting laser surgery or I would not retained as a patient. How unethical can you get? His way or the highway. Guess what? I have found an ethical eye doctor that actually cares what the patient wants. I will be filing An ethics complaint against him. No one I have talked to can believe it. This is a reflection only on him. Office staff have always been accommodating and professional. I Did file a formal complaint against him. And low and behold his office manager which just happens to be his wife blatantly lied and told health first that I had been referred to other specialists to see before my next appointment. No such information was given to me. He then told me I missed the prior appointment. I had to tell him I had never missed an appointment in 10 years. He then looked to the computer,saw I was correct and blamed it on the office. That's when he wanted me to get laser surgery that I refused and then and only then did he hand me a slip with some doctors to see. And then said I was no longer a patient unless I conformed to his demand. I have little or zero respect for him because of this. How many others has he done this to.

I called concerning a possible cornea abrasion in both eyes, red, irritated and painful. I did speak to someone and she was supposed to call me back to let me know about an appointment. She did. I left an email no response in that either. I have been here before and I told her that I didn't want to go anywhere else. Looks like I will and I think it's quite pathetic this practice can't pick up a phone. The customer service here is not what it use to be. It use to be a time when practices would see about their patients no matter how busy they are. Those days are since gone. I am very disappointed.

Had changed providers and was very satisfied the first few years.

There was an incident at the office that I found extremely unprofessional by Dr. Girard and my husband to which we decided we would change providers after that.

It just rubbed us the wrong way, something he could have handled privately vs in front of an entire waiting room.

We changed providers for 2024 and the new provider has requested our records and still has not received them.

We continue to get unsolicited emails although we've stated we are not longer going to Dr. Girard.

It just seems as though we are being blown off. Again unprofessional.

So the records may never reach the new provider, and if not, so be it.

This was just my and my husbands experience with Dr. Girard and his staff.

Would I recommend this provider? Meh... You'd have to try it and not base a decision like that on this review as you can't ever just decide things unless most reviews are 2 stars and below, then be weary of those.

The office staff is very kind and helpful and efficient. Theres not a long wait. Dr.Girard very thorough and listens to your concerns. The facility is kept nicely cleaned and always smells wonderful.

Won’t be returning. My entire family went here and it has steadily gone downhill. Last time I was in I witnessed a young woman tell the manager she didn’t appreciate how rude she was to her. Management didn’t even apologize. Then at my husbands recent visit he asked not to dilate his eyes because he had to return to work and he was told he had to cancel his visit if he didn’t get it done, stating it was required. Unbelievable…It’s a shame because the staff is hardworking and kind but the management is terrible. We won’t be coming back.

Dr Girard is amazing. Best eye doctor I have been too. Great staff also. Give them a try they are fantastic.
