Be sure you understand how this business works and what their limitations are before you schedule an appointment.

They DO NOT have a doctor on site. The doctor is on a TV screen from his home and works the equipment remotely. Because there is no doctor on site they are unable to write prescriptions for low dose atropine to treat myopia. I only found this out after the appointment, even though I brought it up with the staff before the appointment and with the doctor at the beginning of the appointment.

At the end of the day. I used our vision benefits for this appointment and now I have to go to another place and pay out of pocket to get the care most places can provide because they have a doctor on site.

I will give them props for getting both my kids in quickly and for getting trials from another store quickly. But I also have to deduct points because the staff isn't well trained and seems to be mostly new. The manager told me to bring my son back in the next week to confirm his contact prescription, never mentioning we needed an appointment. When I called and mentioned we were coming up after school. I was told there were no slots for the rest of the week (after school). And after I finally got a slot it would take 7-10 days to get the contacts in.

This place is the best!! Not only do they have a HUGE selection of glasses to choose from, they also have the best customer service I have ever seen at a glasses store. I got a free adjustment on the legs on a new pair of glasses, took less than a minute and they fit perfectly. Needless to say, I won’t be going anywhere else from here forward.

Joel and the rest of the team are so friendly, quick and helpful. Got burned by another clinic in the area and VisionWorks cleaned up the mess. Making the switch to permanently be a VisionWorks customer is a no brainer

Worst experience I have ever had trying to get contacts. As others have mentioned, no doctor on site, you meet with the doctor on a screen. What normally takes an hour at most to get a prescription ended up taking multiple trips and many hours due to the complete incompetence of the staff and their technology issues.

4.5 stars. Great choices in trendy and current fashions in eyeglass frames; new frames arrive almost monthly. Also have a nice selection of fun children’s frames. Store was bright, clean and spacious. Frames are arranged by shape (round, cat eye, rectangular, luxury, sunglasses, etc) and most are under $200! Staff I interacted with were professional yet personable.

Minus 1/2 star as Visionworks (not the shop management) doesn’t seem to train staff to offer to help people pick out frames according to what might be the most flattering style for them like most optical stores do; this is more of a pick-it-yourself store although some employees will offer a yay/nay opinion if asked directly. I bought two pairs plus sunglasses, all contemporary and colorful. For the money I spent I am very pleased. Oh, and they replaced lenses in one at no charge because there was a measuring error.
