Went to ER very sick. Had pneumonia & covid. They took care of me for like 2 full days and left feeling so much better. Such a good staff. I could not have been treated any better.

The hospital stay was good, the time waiting to be able to leave hospital was ludicrous . All doctors saw my husband before 10:00am and both said he could go home. But it took 4 more hrs to get both doctors to complete this in the system due to the set up.
Each doctor post info on patient in chart after visit and yet EPIC does not give them a way to check off that the doctor posting agrees to discharge patient therefore give Hospitalist info that they can also discharge patient.
The Charge nurse on our floor told me they do not release patients before 12:00 . We finally left hospital at 3:00 pm. 5 hrs later.
Each patient/ doctor chart in EPIC should have a discharge box that can be chosen to make this an easier and faster process.

I cannot say enough good things about Wellstar Paulding. My grandmother spent two weeks here as she was nearing her last days. She spent some time in both the ER and a room.

The facility is immaculately clean. The nurses, doctors, and case workers were so kind and compassionate as our family had to make some tough decisions. The care they gave to my grandmother focused on maintaining her comfort and dignity. The care they provided our family in educating us on our options while maintaining compassion was above and beyond what you could ask for.

Super nice staff, clean facility, and as hospitable as they can be! A breath of fresh air compared to other local places. On par with Piedmont Hospital Atlanta, whom I consider wonderful!

On January 7, 2025, I checked in at 19:00 for triage and waited to be seen in the back. I was assigned to a room at 21:00, at which point the doctor informed me that she would be administering medication through my IV due to the pharmacy's closing hours.

However, I experienced an extended wait until 2:30 AM on January 8, 2025, when a nurse entered the room to inquire if I was ready for discharge. Unfortunately, this left me feeling as though I had spent several hours without receiving the necessary care or attention, resulting in a frustrating experience.

I believe there is significant room for improvement in the timeliness and communication of care delivery in this situation. Thank you for considering my feedback.

Went in the Paulding Hospital Emergency room unsure of how long I'd be there, thinking most likely it would be hours. I took a book, my phone and figured I'd just be prepared to stay all day. That didn't happen. I walked in checked in, sat down, and before I could look at my phone they called me up. Did vitals, ultrasound and spoke with several of the staff all while easily registering on my phone. No piles of paperwork (which I was dreading) but it was easy breezy. The whole the staff was great, answered all my questions and helped me understand what was going on and what I needed to do. Had the best chat with Melissa at checkout time and I was happily on my way never even cracking open the book I brought. Thanks Paulding Hospital for making my ER visit as pleasant and smooth as possible!

The ER was a complete disaster at best. I had to rush my wife to the ER due to a gallbladder Stones. She was in extreme pain and we waited for no less than eight hours to be brought back to a room. It took the doctors and staff and they’re six hours to do an ultrasound and get us the results. Do yourself a favor If you need to go to the emergency room. I would. go to the next nearest emergency room.
