En enero hice una visita y el medico no hizo absolutamente nada, solo me tuvieron sentado en una silla dentro de un cuarto, a los dos meses me llego un recibo por 900 dolares a lo cual se cubrio el adeudo ese. Y el día sabado 04/22/2023, recibí otro estado de cuenta por la cantidad de 2300 dolares, que cosa absurda es esta? Solo les interesa robarle el dinero a las personas.

No vayan a este hospital para que lo cierren o el personal que lo cambien ahora mismo a mi hija no la atendieron y no puede respirar miraron que la saque asi y no hicieron nada la voy a llevar a newnan apollen porfabor para que corran toda esa gente de ahi

I have to say that the nurses and doctors in the ICU are totally awesome. My sister was only there for a week before passing away. They went out of their way to make her comfortable in her last few days. They treated the family members with th utmost respect and constantly checked to see if we needed anything. My sister was in multi organ failure and they went out of their to make sure she was as pain free as possible. Her last night there she was transferred to the hospice next door and even though she was only there for a few hours, they were amazing also.

I went into Wellstar 10/20/2024 around 6:30am thinking I had experienced food poisoning. The doctor on call for that day Dr Grant E. Taylor stated there was no signs of food poisoning but I had a ruptured appendix aka appendicitis & he recommended emergency surgery same day and he will be my surgeon. He then proceeded to go over the details of the procedure and stated he needs to get the ruptured appendix out of me or it can kill me due to all the bacteria and sepsis it can create in my body. Me thinking I don’t want to die especially this young I agreed to have the procedure done. Surgery started around 2:00pm/3:00pm that afternoon. After surgery in the recovery room while I was still sleep under the anesthesia Dr Grant E Taylor advised my wife that the surgery went as planned and it was a successful procedure! After I woke up about a hour or so I noticed I still had pain coming from my lower right abdomen but I didn’t think too much into it because of course I had just been operated on. Fast forward to the following morning and the full time doctor Jennifer Velgos comes in and my stomach is distended which means very bloated as if I was 6 months pregnant. The nurses immediately began to try and figure out the problem as my intestines were not responding. While the doctor was standing there in shock One of the nurses went & grabbed another lady who ended up saving my life by sticking a NGU tube up my nostrils and through my throat down into my stomach (60 inches) of course gallons and gallons of bacteria started to protrude from my nose & mouth. After sticking the 2nd tube up my right nostril the 2nd time the nurse and my guardian angel that helped her stated to me that if this does not work they are goin to have to take me to ICU. At this point I am scared shitless to say the least. They ended up being able to keep the tube in me to vacuum all the bacteria out of my body for several days and after that there was a lot of blood work and testing ran on me to try and figure out what was the issue. Wellstar had Trainees coming into my room sticking me over 30 times in each of my arms to draw blood and not one of them was able to draw blood. After the lab technician saw they were not getting any blood from me that is when she would step in to assist. Tuesday afternoon Dr Jennifer Velgos comes into my room after receiving the pathology report to advise me that the surgery may not have been successful and that I may still have the ruptured appendix in my body. I was shocked and she asked me to give them a 2nd chance and run another CT scan with contrast to verify if it has been removed or not. Test came back Tuesday evening that the ruptured appendix was still inside my body and that I will have to undergo another surgery in the future (12 weeks) at that point I then requested that no trainees be allowed into my room given the circumstances of this matter. All the way up until they discharged me they still allowed trainees in the room even against my wishes stating it’s okay they are not going to touch you they just want to watch as if I am a testing dummy. The doctor Grant E. Taylor who actually operated on me never came back to follow up with me but directed Dr Jennifer Velgos on what to do moving forward. Dr Jennifer Velgos didn’t make any decisions or recommendations on my status and I clearly felt she was afraid to do so because of the uncertainty which cause my health to decline more & more as I was in their care. They even sent in a heart ultrasound person who stated I may have a whole in my heart which was even more crazy to hear & stressful to understand. Fortunately after conducting the ultrasound there was no hole in my heart. I finally got discharged 10/25/2024 and I am now seeking a second opinion as I am very skeptical of my health & my future seeing that I am back at square one having the ruptured appendix and all the symptoms repeat itself. PLEASE BEWARE
put yourself in my shoes just for a second as I still cannot wrap my mind around this horrible experience. I am still TBD

My mom was in this hospital from Saturday February/8/2025 until Today February/13/2025. She only had her sheets changed twice when my sister in law changed them, they only gave her a bath once, on Wednesday February/12/2025 I had to call the nurse to help with getting her straightened out in the bed and slid up and set and waited and waited and had to finally go out to the nurses station and get someone to help me. Today she called and ask somebody to come change her because she was made to set and wait and set in her feces and finally they come in there after almost an hour of making her set and wait to be changed, and when she was being discharged the two cnas or nurses said they were not going to help get her up so she can come home because they were not hurting their backs. Get her home she has bedsores and this hospital is a joke. But I call to talk to human resources they send me to a third party service because this hospital doesn't want to deal without the the way they do people. This is unacceptable and wrong and I am so mad at this point. Plus the guy at the third party I talked to didn't even get anything right and I couldn't even understand what he was saying. West Georgia Medical Center is not a suitable hospital and needs to be shut down because now I see how the her say is true and how they use and practice corporate medicine and could careless about their patients And last but not least them asking for an id.m but by law I do not have to give them my id and when entering the hospital I was asked 7 times by 7 different staff asking where I was going who I was going to see wna that room. It is none of their business. But now I see what they ask for id because they mistreat people and they come up there to get answers and West Georgia Medical Center can't take the criticism and being told what they done wrong. Well I have a lawsuit and I got proof and pictures. So at this point I have enough evidence of elderly abuse and neglect

The nurses including all assistants,staff and doctors were there always within minutes. My surgery was an emergency due to a fall and fracture. The entire emergency staff and Doctors were so attentive to my pain. My surgery went well the next day at the hands of Dr. Okafor and all of the professional staff in the pre op and operation room. Kudos to all of you caring Angels.uzi was delivered to the fifth floor where I could not believe these special people existed. In 4 days I was transformed out of my pain due to their healing hands and the gifted staff. This includes the profession

From start at the door..the security woman was horrendous. So aggressive and rude. I was then pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and professionalism by every single staff member (approx 10) that helped me. I came with a huge wound on my heel. Looked horrible and was wrapped in bandage. I was very scared of infection and amputation as I'm a diabetic and 67 yo. Anyway after driving 45 miles and spend the whole afternoon and almost the whole evening nervously waiting to have the doctor look at it...he came in my room and said just go home and keep an eye on it! This doctor did not even open my wrap. He didn't so much as look at my wound? NEVER AGAIN would I come to this hospital!!!

I have came here multiple times for domestic violence , to see a friend , etc . And I’m here now bc I fell and slipped down my porch stairs and how unfortunate it is that it was the same dang left ankle I fractured 6 years ago …. Just my luck . As I’ve been here , they have been so kind . A lot of nurses and others came in to check on me from time to time and even offered me a blanket just incase I got cold . Immediately gave me medicine (600mg ibuprofen) and have been over all amazing . The nurses are so nice and are easy to talk to . I came in here looking a mess and was having to hop around when I had to get out of the wheel chair & the doctor said atleast I had good balance and I was a good hopper lol . Not to mention I’m sick and probably have covid (not sure yet , but hopefully not) or just bad sinus drainage . Just my luck though…. I’m sick and been sick for going on 4 days now and then this happens 🤦‍♀️ . But 10/10 would recommend 🙂 lovely staff !! 💞
